He sits cross-legged on a secija[1] covered by multi-colored pillows and is smoking a water pipe. In front of the entrance to the tent are two Janitsars standing guard, they have crossed their lances and are wearing sables. Standing behind the sultan are two other Janitsars with drawn sables. Also they are members of the royal guards. Sitting on the right side of the sultan is his eldest son, crown prince Jakub, and on the left side his youngest one, Bajaziet. Sitting on the right side of the tent are the three most important military leaders, Ali, Evrenus and Sahin. This whole company is being served with tea and sweets by a couple of beautiful women. After short while, walking backwards and continually bowing to the sultan, they leave the tent.   SULTAN MURAT: I had a strange dream/ Above Kosovo was a dense cloud, That instead of rain belched white snow. Barefoot I walked in the snow, My feet frozen by the strong frost, So that I could not stand the pain. When I tried to cover my feet/ With the blank side of my hand, A strong hand grabbed me, And then pulled me up by my grey hair, So that I was hovering in mid-air.
