陳家強：向八達通公司提五要求 包括妥善處理管治
八達通公司下午召開特別董事會會議。 本身是港鐵董事局成員的財經事務及庫務局局長陳家強表示，八達通公司應積極跟進前私隱專員的中期調查報告。 政府已向八達通公司提出五點要求：盡快妥善處理公司管理層及管治問題，重建公眾信心；確保現存及將來搜集個人資料為必須，徹底刪除不必要的資料；要在最短時間內與客戶聯絡，提供方便途徑，讓市民選擇撤回使用個人資料授權；明確表示如何何處理出售個人資料利潤，明確交代公司日後業務方向，期望八達通董事會清楚交代有關問題。 至於政府會否要求撤換行政總裁陳碧鏵，陳家強說，政府認為八達通公司要處理管治問題，相信董事會適當處理。 他又說，政府已責成港鐵及九鐵在八達通公司的代表，要全力配合金管局及私隱專員調查，並切實執行建議。
