Good Morning. It’s Friday, July 1, 2011. At this hour, U.S. equity futures are up. Overseas, the Asian markets were mixed, while the European markets are higher. Nortel Networks (PINK:NRTLQ) announced that it concluded an auction of all of Nortel's remaining patents and patent applications. A consortium emerged as the winning bidder with a cash purchase price of $4.5B. The consortium consists of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), EMC (NYSE:EMC), Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) and Sony (NYSE:SNE). The ITC ruled against Eastman Kodak (NYSE:EK) in its patent dispute against Apple (NYSE:AAPL) and Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM). In the lawsuit, Eastman Kodak claimed that Apple had infringed on a Kodak patent related to image-preview technology. Darden (NYSE:DRI) raised its annual dividend by 34% to $1.72 per share. AstraZeneca (NYSE:AZN) received approval for NEXIUM in Japan.a
