Terrorist atrocities often leave people at a loss to explain how anyone could commit such acts. Another question, less frequently asked, is why do people give up terrorism? And how can that process be influenced? To find some answers, we take you to Algeria.But first, the southern African country of Botswana has the second-highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world.  The challenge is getting help to those in the remote bush-communities who need it most. We join a team on the road.Then, this past January, a devastating earthquake destroyed much of the Caribbean island of Haiti. Millions are still homeless. But the toll is especially high for women and girls, who are now even more vulnerable to an age-old curse.
