Nanotechnology is finding applications in plastics, paints and textiles. That has implications for automobiles as well.Nanoparticles are increasingly being used in the construction of modern automobiles. They help make car paint tougher and longer-lasting, improve the performance and efficiency of tires, or strengthen the adhesives used in some areas of car assembly. Experts say in the near future, most automobiles will be almost entire held together with glues strengthened by nanoparticles.
