巴基斯坦水災1500死 三名中國工程人員仍失蹤
巴基斯坦水災造成超過1500人死亡，200多萬人被洪水圍困。 聯合國表示，超過100萬巴基斯坦災民需要緊急協助，秘書長潘基文宣布撥款1000萬美元協助救災，英國將會透過聯合國兒童基金會捐贈500萬英鎊給予災區，用來確保食水安全及改善衞生。 另外，中國在當地承建的都伯瓦水電站，亦遭受洪水影響，268名中方工程人員受困，現時知道251名被困中方人員獲救，仍然有14人留守，3人失蹤。
