So this was my first time ever working in 3D, so apologies for how dull it is, learning was really the goal here...but Sharing motivates.  As you can probably tell, I simply followed the "Intro to Cinema 4D tutorial" by Nick "The Gorilla" Campbell! Located here. I didn’t have global illumination, or the HDRI map, so I used an area light and a pic I used for a DVD cover...if you look very closely you can see my name and email address reflected. Then I learned how to use a Camera and set keyframes... BY MYSELF!!! All in all not a bad 1st day.
