The KU school of pharmacy wants 50 million dollars to construct new classrooms and help alleviate a shortage of pharmacists in Kansas. Currently there are 105 openings for students at KU. If the school gets the money it would be able to increase that enrollment. Dean Kenneth Audus hopes that by admitting more students it can help fill vacancies.
