Top story: It’s official - MSPs re-elected Alex Salmond as First Minister of the Scottish Parliament. In other news: Religious hate crimes in Scotland are ten per cent up on last year; the jury in the Malcolm Webster murder trial will be asked to retire to consider its verdicts tomorrow; quids in - the price of getting rid of the tartan tat from Edinburgh's Royal Mile; and in sport, James Forrest says he didn't know he'd been called into the Scotland squad and he thought his friends were winding him up when they texted him to break the news.
