政府就西貢大浪西灣發展審批地區草圖刊憲，除了農業發展外，其他用途均需要向城規會申請，未經批准，不得進行挖土工程。 長春社指，規劃署並無將土地列為最高規格的保育地帶，發展商仍然有權發展該地段。
