Tweet Warning: Graphic violence Chechnya in 2000 at Komsomolskoye a suburb of Grozny . Russian forces evacuated the town , bombed and shot it up with artillery for 2 days before mopping up the Chechen fighters aprox 1,500 - 2,000 killed. It was the worst defeat for the Chechens in that conflict .
