Includes coverage of flight simulators, expert systems and artificial intelligence used in weapons systems, military robots being developed at Carnegie Mellon University, research in the Strategic Defense Initiative program, and the relationship between Silicon Valley and DARPA. Guests include Gary Kildall and Raj Reddy. Originally broadcast in 1986.
