奈良県高市郡明日香村大字越にある牽牛子塚古墳
古墳の形は八角形墳。墳丘一段目は一辺約１２，２ｍ、対角線約３３ｍ。墳丘二段目は一辺約７ｍ、対角線約１８，５ｍ、高さ約４ｍ。築造年代は７世紀中頃から８世紀初めあたり。被葬者は 斉明天皇説が有力視されている。出土品は夾紵棺、七宝飾り金具、人骨（臼歯）。また臼歯は間人皇女のものと説あり。また国の史跡に指定されたその時には「あさがおつかこふん」の読み方がつけられており、「牽牛子」はアサガオの別称である。MAP
