Obama Aims to Show Support for Democracy, Praise Economic Progress in Latin America
President Barack Obama is scheduled to arrive Saturday in Brazil to start a five-day Latin America trip also taking him to Chile and El Salvador.  VOA Chief White House Correspondent Dan Robinson is accompanying him, and reports Mr. Obama wants to send the message the United States intends to step up its engagement, while respecting the political, economic and social agendas governments are pursuing in the region.
