U.S. Mission in Libya and Afghanistan
Pete Hoekstra talked about the previous day suicide bomb attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, and the recently announced drawdown of U.S. forces from that country. He also discussed the current U.S. mission in Libya and responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.   Mr. Hoekstra is a former U.S. representative (R-MI) and served as chair of the House Intelligence Committee. C-SPAN Radio’s Bobbi Jackson read news headlines at the end of the program.
