Plus rock et plus sombre que le précédent, le deuxième single de Placebo "Infra-red" illustre parfaitement le mal-être qui se dégage de "Meds", le cinquième album du groupe. Il marque le retour des guitares saturées (plus effacées dans les derniers disques) et propose des paroles très sombres, à limage du clip.
