Joe Sargison, football coach, founder of Balls To Poverty says the word that’s coming back to us is that many youngsters are engaged in the sport projects that we've helped supply with the merchandise and are actually moving away from crime, hopefully moving away from taking tik which is the real killer around these parts as a drug and staying away from gangsterism. Balls To Poverty has trained 400 South African coaches and distributed 24,000 balls in the townships and it looks set to expand even further. Giving kids, if not a promise, then at least a dream of a better life ahead.
