Advancing Computers
In this episode, learn about an international children’s digital library that is being developed by Allison Druin, Ph.D., which contains 100 books from 100 different cultures, available to children around the world via the Internet and a child-friendly browsing system. In the second half, we will hear from Yavuz Oruc, Ph.D., who has developed a software system called Codemill Jr., that teaches school children how a computer works.
