WBC連覇を果たした日本代表の表彰式、都内で開催 選手たちにチャンピオンリング贈与
2009年3月にWBC(ワールド・ベースボール・クラシック)連覇を果たした日本代表の表彰式が17日午後、東京・赤坂で始まった。チャンピオンリングの授与式では、王 貞治さんから原 辰徳監督とコーチ陣に、そして原監督から選手たちに、およそ100万円ともいわれるチャンピオンリングが贈られた。イチロー選手(36)と松坂大輔投手(29)は欠席したが、選手たちはこのあと、会場の外に敷かれたレッドカーペットを歩き、ファンの前にも姿を見せる予定。
