Weaker Euro - Stronger Exports?
The weakness of the Euro and the size of Greek debt have come as a shock to many Germans. But the business world is taking a much more pragmatic view. German exporters are profiting from the weaker Euro, their products are becoming cheaper abroad and so better able to compete.So who is benefiting and who is suffering from the monetary crisis. We traveled to the northern Bavarian town of Weissenburg to find out. The engineering company Ossberger produces turbines for hydro electric power stations here. 90 percent of its output is exported. So the view of the weak Euro is positive. Report by Marion Hütter.
