Tecmo: Secret of the Stars was a little-known RPG that came out in 1995 for the Super Nintendo games console, widely despised for its basic gameplay and rather daft plot. However, regardless of what you think of the game, I feel that it’s something special and deserves the Team Sponkel treatment. This film is the start of a series in which one half of Team Sponkel (Mr. X, as I call myself) will be playing through the whole game for you to see in its hilarity.   Just ask yourself: what other RPG involves a Batman-impersonator called Bad-bad transforming a town's populace into dogs? Or the heroes going to a chemist who will swing a moustache around in order to turn somebody who was made into a golden statue of a lion by a demonic circus trainer back to normal?
