Rio’s famed parades crown Carnival partying
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen joined performers of Rio’s famously extravagant Carnival parades in the Sambadrome to the cheers of festival goers on Sunday. The processions, featuring near-naked dancing queens, spectacularly imaginative floats and thousands of extras, were held before a stadium crowd of 70,000 and an international broadcast audience.
