'How to say I love you' is an independent short film by Hayley Stuart and Francesca Sophia.  SYNOPSIS. Nicola is sitting on a bench reading* when she is approached by Sam, an intrusive boy who strikes up an unusual and intimate conversation with her, in which they bond awkwardly over their mutual feelings of lonliness and isolation in a generation that would rather communicate via the internet, than in person.
