Episode Twelve: Charm City Blues Baltimore It’s a struggle to survive on the streets of Baltimore, whose ironic nickname is Charm City. A tough town with some tough police officers fighting to hold the line. Homicide Detective Dennis Raferty tracks down killers with the words ‘thou shalt not kill’ in his mind. He is called to a case in which a woman’s body has been found in the woods in the outskirts of town. Detective Maurice Moore is Raferty’s partner on the case. They are used to gun shot wounds, but this is different, it’s a stabbing, which they feel is more personal where someone had to get close and break flesh. The Flex Squad is a plain clothes unit trying to stop drug related homicide.
