Microsoft Research India: The First Year
Microsoft Research India Lab just turned one. In this talk, P. Anandan describes their exciting and exhilarating year. The group has grown from five to thirty full-time staff and has had over thirty-five interns come through. They have accomplished a great deal - research, publishing papers, filing patents, working with product groups, building prototypes, and creating what many people think is one of the coolest work environments. The most exciting thing is the support and participation they have received from researchers at all levels, and the great reception from and partnership with the academic community in India. Anandan shows slides and pictures and tells stories about this journey. From the Series:CSE Colloquia - 2006
