A neighborhood construction project keeps Rex up through the night.  Already tired and irritable come morning, he’s only more upset to see Max waking up bright-eyed and bushy tailed from a sound sleep. The ensuing argument over who's too sensitive and who's too clueless to notice a backhoe outside his window is cut short when an Ankylosaurus appears beneath their city. Only when confronted by Team Alpha and their dinosaur troops do the two estranged friends realize that it is these very differences in their character that make them invaluable allies.
