Jipijapa hats
There is a small town in the state of Campeche on the Yucatan peninsula whose residents produce Panama hats known locally as Jipijapas.  In Becal, the hats are woven in underground caves in the back yard of peoples homes. We drove into town, parked the car and found a bike taxi who took us to a friends house.
