Scrums Charlie Angus, the NDP’s digital issues critic, commented on the federal government’s new copyright bill.   Among the issues discussed by Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe were the security costs for the G8 and G20 summits and House Speaker’s ruling regarding the use of a certain term in the House. Peter Milliken has told MPs to stop using the term "token Quebecker" or "Québécois de service" to refer to other MPs.
