業主失蹤26年 租客透過「逆權侵佔」成為業主
一名居住在土瓜灣馬頭角道唐樓的租客，以業主失蹤26年為理由，獲高等法院頒令「逆權侵佔」勝訴，入稟人可以聲明為業主。 法官表示，入稟人自84年中開始未能與業主取得聯絡，其間入稟人代業主繳付差餉和其他費用。 法官說，在法律上，將業主除名是屬於大事，而入稟人曾經到過業主居住的地址附近找尋，亦在報章刊登尋人啟事，但至今業主及其親戚沒有在法庭出現。 有地產代理表示，有關大廈樓齡超過50年，單位市值約200萬元。
