Reuters reports that GE (GE) put its rail car leasing business up for sale, its second attempt in three years to offload a business that could be worth more than $3B. the New York Post reports that potential buyers are losing interest in acquiring CitiFinancial, Citigroup's (C) $13B subprime lending unit. Bloomberg reports that the FTC said drug company deals that delayed the introduction of cheaper generic medicines increased 63% in 2010 as the agency presses Congress and the courts to limit the settlements. Finally, The Wall Street Journal reports that Federal immigration agents questioned workers at about two dozen outlets of Chipolte Mexican Grill (CMG) in several states as part of an expanding probe of the company's employment practices.
