Google introduces its new Facebook competitor, Google+
Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) introduced a new social networking service, called the Google+ project, which will initially be available only to a select group of Google users who will soon be able to invite others. The service will look to differentiate itself from Facebook by being designed for sharing with small groups, instead of with all of a user’s contacts. Shares of the search giant are trading up 2.44% to $494.58 in afternoon trading.
