砂漠の薔薇(バラ)
砂漠のバラは石膏または重晶石で出来た鉱物。動画のは石膏で構成されたものです。砂漠のバラは水に溶けたミネラルが結晶に成長するものらしく、砂漠があってなおかつ水が全くない地域からは産出されないそうです。そのため、水が存在した証拠としても使われています。さらに調べてみるとどうやってバラ状に生成されるのか解明されてないそうです。主な産出地はメキシコやサハラ砂漠が大半。
