Handgun Control
The second amendment to the Constitution states - 'A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.' This widely interpretated statement written in 1791, today raises many questions. Who can keep arms? What is meant by militia and how should they be regulated? In light of the public perception of violence in our society coupled with the availability of guns, can we reach consensus on firearm regulation? From the Series:Capitol Region Roundtable
