Campaign Politics Winnipeg South CentreThe Manitoba riding of Winnipeg South Centre has been held by Liberal MP Anita Neville since 2000. The long-time parliamentarian will be looking to defend her seat against five first-time candidates. The Conservatives are have nominated chartered accountant Joyce Bateman to carry their flag, while the NDP have selected the Chair of Inner City Renovation, Dennis Lewycky. Also on the ballot are Joshua McNeil of the Green Party, and independent candidates Matt Henderson and Lyndon Froese. CPAC’s Kenneth Bell visited the riding and the candidates.
