Cruise Ship Travel Tip #13 - Ship Layout
Study The Layout Of The Ship - It’s fun to explore the ship unfortunately you don't seem to learn your way around until the last day! If you study ahead of time everybody will think you're smart. There are several decks and often three or more elevator banks located in the fore aft and middle of the ship. Just jumping on the first elevator available will often get you to the correct deck but lost when you get there. Not to mention all the stairs. On a cruise ships stairs of every style shape design are located everywhere and jus knowing that you need to go up or down a floor will often get you more lost than just using the elevator in the first place. Additionally terms like fore, aft, port and starboard are often used in general announcements and directions from the ships staff. Often the cruise director will do a quick explanation of those terms the first day of your cruise. Pay attention! If you do not happen to catch the meanings of those terms you may find yourself lost for the rest of your vacation. This has been Lisel Hlista for travelwishtv.com with yet another travel tip. Thanks for watching.
