~The Princess Of Mexico~Dolores Del Rio
Dolores del Río (1904-1983) was a Mexican film actress. She was a star of Hollywood films during the silent era and in the Golden Age of Hollywood. Later in life, she became an important actress in Mexican films. She was generally thought to be one of the most beautiful actresses of her era, and was the first Latin American movie star to have international appeal. Dolores Del Rio was often referred to as the Princess Of Mexico. Marlene Dietrich considered Dolores "The most beautiful woman in Hollywood". Some rumors said that her diet consisted of orchid petals and that she slept 16 hours in the day. Among the many movies she made in her brilliant career was "The Red Dance". The song in this video is "Someday Somewhere, We Will Meet Again" by the Nat Shilkret Orchestra and was featured in the 1928 movie she filmed with Raoul Walsh.
