WikiLeaks' Assange Remains Defiant
(Al Jazeera English Headlines: December 17, 2010) Julian Assange says he fears the U.S. is preparing to indict him, but has vowed WikiLeaks will continue to release classified documents. EU leaders have agreed to forge closer economic ties to stabilize the euro zone and set up a permanent bailout fund for 2013. And immigrant detainees on Australia’s Christmas Island have been protesting against their living conditions, saying more should have been done to help the migrants killed on a boat that sank off the island on Wednesday.
