Bahrain Military Strengthens Grip
Bahrain’s government has banned protests and has deployed the military on the streets of the capital. It follows the crackdown on thousands of anti-government protesters early on Thursday, in which at least three people were killed and hundreds wounded. Opposition groups say they will continue with their demonstrations. Henry Ridgwell reports for VOA from London.
