Bank of America (BAC) said late yesterday that it has agreed with the lawyers for a group of investors who demanded action on mortgage-backed securitizations to extend its deadline to respond to the letter.  In October, a group consisting of the New York Fed, Pimco and BlackRock (BLK) asked the bank and its trustee, Bank of New York Mellon (BK), to respond to its request within 60 days, which would have expired today without the extension.
