Electric Rescue - My Inner Colors
What a beautiful noise! With his second EP for Cocoon Recordings, Antoine Husson aka DJ D’Jedi continues where he had stopped with his "The Devil's Star"-EP in 2009. The experience of the Paris-born producer, who has worked for renowned labels such as F Comm, Communiqué, ELP Medien and Paul Nazca's label Scandium (where he also released his debut album "EL.UE" four years ago), is obvious, being resident DJ at the Paris icon club Rex. He simply knows how he could drive a dancefloor mad. Again this time, unerringly, Electric Rescue finds the golden compromise between modern rhythmic textures and powerful rave signals in the tradition of the early nineties. "Crazy Purple" starts a little cautiously, but with its unforgettable, steadily growing noise modulation from minute four on, the track sets an exclamation mark for the 11th Season, already now. The B side "Bleu Electrique" presents us a mind-expanding span between Chicago-esque Phuture sounds and Acid Trance spinners. As a digital bonus, we get the more Acid-like "Acido Rosso" with a side-splitting slo-mo-basskick the fundament for deep sensual moments at the club, only to blow your skullcap away with a squadron of killer bees.
