Fog on the Shannon River
Sean Lightholder recently remarked on irelandlogue.com that early in the morning a mist rises from the River Shannon and obscures Athlone in a romantic haze of fog before the sunrise burns it all away. The fog rises suddenly and burns off just as fast - the whole process takes about 20 minutes. Sean got up super early to capture the magic on tape. What has only been witnessed by Irish river fishermen and early morning trucks crossing the town bridge is now here for your viewing pleasure. The accompanying music was recorded live by Sean at the bi-weekly Brideswell traditional Irish music session in County Roscommon.
