The Baltimore take another step in the rebuilding process, having acquired Mark Reynolds, Derrek Lee, and Vladimir Guerrero. Bloomberg Television’s Michele Steele discusses the Orioles with Bloomberg Sports Analyst Rob Shaw who previews the upcoming season. Shaw says Mark Reynolds should improve and bat over .200 this season, Luke Scott is a solid power bat who can blast 30 home runs, the young pitchers should improve including Brian Matusz and Brian Bergersen, and that Koji Uehara has the best stuff in the bullpen. Shaw predicts a season close to .500 for the Orioles, as Buck Showalter leads the club closer to contention against the rival Red Sox, Yankees, and Rays.
