In the ten years since Eagle Bend Golf Course has opened, it consistently has lost money. Lawrence is coming to terms with the courses' financial capabilities. For Lawrence golfers it's business as usual, but Eagle Bend Golf Course might not be known as a business much longer. The City of Lawrence has finally recognized that the amenity that Eagle Bend will not generate revenue for the city. Though the golf course isn't making money. Parks and Recreation Director Fred DeVictor thinks its achieving its goals.
