A Leadership Analysis of George W. Bush
It was just a little over a year ago, when George W. Bush was making headlines of another kind. He won the presidency with a marginal victory. There were controversies over vote tabulation and rumors of election fraud. The country was divided and so were our leaders. Our new president faced the beginning of his term trying to bring our politicians back together. And then, almost overnight the fissures healed---as George W. Bush became leader of a nation under attack, in mourning and ultimately at war. Some would say that his decisions during this crisis have proven him a remarkable leader. Others would say that he has been largely unquestioned, allowing his administration to function without the normal checks and balances of our democracy. So just how does George W. Bush stack up as president? From the Series:The Global Village
