Rome Plans Hotel Tax-City’s credit rating under siege
June 9 (Bloomberg) — Bloomberg’s Flavia Rotondi reports on Italian government plans to impose a hotel tax on Rome's 9 million annual visitors to try to ease the Eternal City's 9.6 billion euros ($11.5 billion) of debt and hang onto its A+ credit rating. Bloomberg's Maryam Nemazee also speaks.
