Qantas Airways' Business Outlook, Asia Market
Peter Harbison, executive chairman of the Sydney-based Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation, talks about Qantas Airways Ltd.'s business outlook. Qantas may cut routes and seek tie-ups with competitors as Australia’s largest carrier works to reverse losses at its international business, according to analysts. Separately, the Australian & International Pilots Association, which represents the long-haul pilots, yesterday voted to take its first industrial action at the carrier since 1966. Harbison speaks with John Dawson on Bloomberg Television’s "First Up."
