Public Record The 45th National Prayer Breakfast was held in Ottawa on May 11th, 2010. The theme of this year’s event was "In Pursuit of Excellence". The breakfast featured members of Parliament and the Senate of Canada, Supreme Court Justice Beverley McLachlin, and Lt. Gen. Andrew Leslie, chief of the land staff. The guest speakers were Olympic medallist Cindy Klassen and her sister, Lisa Klassen, who survived a serious automobile accident in 2008.
