匯控零八年業績，比市場預期更差，只賺五十七億美元。雖然行政總裁紀勤，一如以往來港解畫，但市場評論更指，今次公布的這盤帳目，其實仍有很多不清楚之處，例如歐洲市場現況，美國信用卡市場前景，投資證券的會計安排等，影響市場對其前景分析，究竟匯控是否仍有未拆的計時炸彈? 另外，匯控公布業績的同時，也公布了英國和香港歷史上最大宗的供股，十二供五，比例很大，但較現價折讓四成，又似乎很吸引，供還是不供? 要看其麼因素? 不供股又應作何打算? 供股又應有其麼準備?
