內地多個電視台播放一段香港導遊強迫內地遊客購物的短片，片段中的導遊在旅遊巴不斷謾罵，威脅團友如果不購物，便不會向他們提供食宿。 旅遊業議會總幹事董耀中說，暫時未知片段中的旅行團，由哪間旅行社同導遊接待，議會已經去信內地傳媒及廣東省旅遊局了解事件。 旅遊事務署強調，絕不容許強迫旅客購物，違規者必定受嚴懲。
