The Eifelrennen, or Eifel races, is a traditional classic car and race event that’s been held, with interruptions, since 1922. This year an estimated 32,000 visitors came to the famous Nürburgring race course in the Eifel Mountains of western Germany to admire classic cars and see them race on the track's legendary north loop. Organizers brought together not just a great collection of classic automobiles, but famous racers from decades of German auto-racing history. drive it! gathered some impressions and talked with some of the participants.
